State Scholastic Meet
Congratulations to the students of Plainview High School for tremendous success at this year’s State Scholastic Meet. To participate in the State Scholastic Meet, students have to place in the top 3 at one of the State Qualifier Meets. Plainview took a large group of students and had a great showing. Congratulations to Melinda Wallace, the team’s sponsor. Congratulations are also in order for the teachers at Plainview High School for the tremendous job they do at educating our students. State Champions
Congratulations to the Plainview Boys Golf Team for winning the 3A Golf State Championship. They have had an outstanding season and overcome many obstacles. Congratulations to the players and to Coach Bloodworth on this incredible accomplishment. Trae Wilkins was the individual State Champion with the best score out of all the 3A boys at the State Tournament. Go Indians!
State Track Meet
Congratulations to the Plainview Boys and Girls Track Teams for the success they had at the State Track Meet. Plainview moved from 3A to 4A this year, but we still had great success. Our girls team finished as the State Runner-up. The boys team finished in 4th place overall.
